Lacking in confidence and with several barriers which prevented him from finding work, Brynley came to Cyfle Cymru after hearing about the service from the Local Job Centre Plus in Newport.
Through working with the project, he was able to develop his confidence, learn new skills and address the issues holding him back.
His efforts were have been rewarded with a paid position as Mental Health Peer Mentor with Cyfle Cymru.
Two months in, Brynley is enjoying his new role and developing even further – the team in Newport are delighted at how he has settled into his work to help others.
