Following a struggle to find work, Lance from Caerphilly worked alongside his peer mentor to host an event displaying his own art work.
Lance, 55, described himself as a keen artist who loves to display his work and describes his experience at Cyfle Cymru as a real highlight.
Cyfle Cymru helped Lance engage in confidence building courses, interview training and peer mentor training which gave him the self-confidence to lead his own exhibition. He is now planning to join the Cyfle Cymru project as a volunteer to lead on a new art group.
Lance’s story demonstrates the passion and commitment Cyfle Cymru have in creating unique opportunities for individuals to develop.
Here you can see photos of Lance and his artwork.
Cyfle Cymru is delivered by members of the DACW Consortium.
Cyfle Cymru is part of the Welsh Government’s Out of Work Service, supported by the European Social Fund.
