Cassie from Cwmbran has been working with Cyfle Cymru and has since completed her peer mentoring qualification.
She fully engaged with all the Cyfle Cymru activities in her area and worked hard with her peer mentor to discover her next steps.
Here she can be seen taking those steps on her first day volunteering with Gwent Drug & Alchohol Service.
Cassie, 30, said: “The support I have had from Cyfle Cymru has changed my life – I know that’s cheesy, but it really has. I feel I have come a long way in such a short space of time and now I have a clear plan to work towards. I feel like I have direction.”
Cyfle Cymru is delivered by members of the DACW Consortium.
Cyfle Cymru is part of the Welsh Government’s Out of Work Service, supported by the European Social Fund.
