Ian: “This will better my education and help gain employment”

Ian from Benllech is making the most of the opportunities Cyfle Cymru have to offer, in attempt to gain work and meet new people.

Ian, 51, said: “I needed help in looking for work, training and occupying my time so I was introduced to my peer mentors Owen and Hari.

“Since joining Cyfle Cymru I have been attending various courses and have completed my CSCS, passing first time. This will better my education and help me gain employment.

“I see peer mentor, Beverly Jones on a weekly basis at Llangefni Job Club where she has helped me with my CV and applying for work”

“I’m also keen to do the monthly volunteer days as I enjoy them and meeting new people. It helps me get out and about and interact with other people in the same predicament”

Cyfle Cymru is delivered by members of the DACW Consortium.

Cyfle Cymru is part of the Welsh Government’s Out of Work Service, supported by the European Social Fund.
