Philomena from Port Talbot stopped drinking and turned her life around with the help of Cyfle Cymru.
Philomena, 49, loves engaging in the activities that are available through CAIS and WCADA, and has made lots of new friends who are following a similar journey.
She said with the high-quality support of Cyfle Cymru she thrived while completing numerous qualifications, including a First Aid Awareness course.
“I used to cope with alcohol but now I have better things to turn to,” Philomena said. “I can look to the future instead of drinking to get through the day.”
Cyfle Cymru is delivered by members of the DACW Consortium.
Cyfle Cymru is part of the Welsh Government’s Out of Work Service, supported by the European Social Fund.
