Before engaging with Cyfle Cymru, Sarah from Flintshire felt isolated and found it hard to move forward in her recovery.
She attended a number of 1:1 sessions, worked hard with her peer mentor to build on her confidence and was able to attend a drop-in on her own.
She continued to engage weekly with the project and found everything in her life was improving.
Since then, she has been successful in an interview to become a volunteer youth worker in her local community centre and will be completing a level 2 qualification.
She has also started as a Cyfle Cymru volunteer.
Sarah said: “I just want to thank you, I’ve really enjoyed myself and feel so confident.
“You’re all so honest and natural and that’s exactly what I needed in my life.
“Thank you for being yourselves and treating me as a person. It makes a massive difference and I am so grateful”
Cyfle Cymru is delivered by members of the DACW Consortium.
Cyfle Cymru is part of the Welsh Government’s Out of Work Service, supported by the European Social Fund.
