Engaging with Cyfle Cymru has been an integral part of my recovery from alcohol addiction. I signed up to the project and was assigned a fantastic peer mentor who understood me. I took part in events and training courses, which helped me gain confidence and enhance my prospects for future employment. Craig and Aled from Llanelli – who do everything together – have gained confidence since they started volunteering with the British Heart Foundation, with the support of Cyfle Cymru. Following a struggle to find work, Lance from Caerphilly worked alongside his peer mentor to host an event displaying his own art work.
